【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversfiberglasspipefittingsintendedforuseingravityflowsystemsforconveyingsanitarysewage,stormwater,andthoseindustrialwastesforwhichthefittingsaredeterminedtobesuitable.Elbows,tees,laterals,crosses,reducers,andadaptersareincluded.Bothglass-fiber-reinforcedandthermosetting-resinpipe(RTRP)andglass-fiber-reinforcedplasticmortarpipe(RPMP)arefiberglasspipes.Note1-Forthepurposeofthisstandard,polymerdoesnotincludenaturalpolymers.Thisspecificationisintendedtocoveronlydimensions,materialproperties,andworkmanshipratherthanthestructuraldesignofthefittings.Thestructuraldesignofthefittingsshallbeasagreeduponbetweenpurchaserandsupplierandshouldtakeintoconsiderationtheanticipatedconditionsofinstallationandservice.Thisspecificationcoversonlyfittingsfabricatedfromcutsectionsofpipe,orfromacombinationofpipesectionsandcontactmolded(handlayup),ormachinefabricatedcomponents.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationpurposesonly.Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section11,ofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note2-ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOstandard.
