【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversthespecifications,safetyrequirements,performance,design,practices,markinginstructionsandtestmethodsforMulti-StoryBuildingExternalEvacuationPlatformRescueSystems(PRS)foremergencyescapeofpersonswhocannotusethenormalmeansofegresstoasafeareaandfortransportofemergencyrespondersvertically.1.2ThisstandardisapplicableonlytoPRS''s:1.2.1Permanentlyinstalled;1.2.2Designedformulti-cycleandrepetitiveuse;and1.2.3Wheredescentiscontrolledtolimitspeedbeforearrivalatafloororlandingzone.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotcover:1.3.1Platformdevicesthatareusedprimarilyforpurposesotherthanemergencyevacuationand/oraccess;1.3.2Helicoptersorotherflyingplatforms;1.3.3Anyotherdevicescoveredunder/withinASMEA17.1;1.3.4APRSutilizingplatform(s)thatcanbetransportedtoorbetweenbuildingsduringoperations;and1.3.5APRSusingdrivingmethodsotherthanpositivedriveasdrumandropes.1.4OperationofaPRSislimitedtotrainedandauthorizedoperators.1.5ThevaluesgiveninSIunitsaretobeconsideredasthestandard.1.6TableofContentsThisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
