【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversavehicletestproceduretoevaluatethetendencyofanunleadedspark-ignitionenginefueltofoulelectronicportfuelinjectors(PFI).1.2Thetestmethodisapplicabletounleadedspark-ignitionenginefuelswhichmaycontainantioxidants,corrosioninhibitors,metaldeactivators,dyes,depositcontroladditives,andoxygenates.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Specificprecautionarystatementsaregiventhroughoutthistestmethod.Note1IfthereisanydoubtastothelatesteditionofTestMethodD5598,contactASTMHeadquarters.Otherpropertiesofsignificancetospark-ignitionenginefuelaredescribedinSpecificationD4814.
